SEC-S15W5 || "Dream of becoming a Steem Representative (SR)"

Assalam O Alaikum

Hello Steemians! Well come to my post. How are you all? I hope that you will be doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm here to participate in this Steemit engagement challenge season 15 week 5 in this Steem Indonesia community. The topic of this challenge is "Dream of becoming a Steem Representative (SR)". So let's start the task without any more delay of time.

Do you want to become one of the Steem Representatives? Why and what were your efforts to get elected?

Of course yes I want to become a Steem representative because it is my desire and it will be an honor for me to take a charge as a Steem representative of my country Pakistan. Mostly every Steemian want to achieve huge success in that platform and becoming a representative is would be a great success for any person. The reason is that it is the highest position on Steem Blockchain which make us most respectable and most responsible Steemian. Also becoming a Steem representative is not everyone's cup of tea because those lucky achieve that feat who meet the specific criteria which Is set by the Steemit team.

Friends I have joined Steemit platform in 2021 and since than I'm active and working on it. Since my first day on Steemit I have set different goals which I wanted to achieve through my hardwork and dedication. Some of them have been achieved and some of them are still remaining and becoming a representative is also one of them. I always wanted to provides my services and wanted to make that platform more successful with my efforts. And when I will become a SR than surely I will be able to do something big for that wonderful platform.

Still I'm not meeting with that criteria which is set by the Steemit team for representative's opportunity. That criteria including a specific amount of steem power which I think more than 20K and the reputation should be more than 70. So I'm working hard to achieve that criteria and in future I will be eligible to select as a steem representative of my country Pakistan.

Mention some of the duties of a Steem Rep that you know and what is the big influence on the growth of steemians and the platform?

Yes the SR has to perform different duties on the platform and they all have a great influence on the growth of Steemians especially for the newcomers. So let's have a brief look at some useful responsibilities of a Steem representative on the platform.

1. Support And Guidance:

• A steem representative has to support and guide the fellow Steemians through commenting and upvoting their articles. Also he has to guide the Steemians how to get success on the platform by creating Quality contents.

2. Platform's Promotion:

• A SR has to promote Steemit on different social media platform so that he may fetch the attention of New users and by sharing his experience he can build trust of people on Steemit platform.

3. Fostering Communities:

• The SR has to build communities on the platform so that the users May get different topics and contests. And by participating their contests in different communities they may get rewards and their engagement on the platform may also increase.

How do the duties and responsibilities of a Steem Representative differ from a community admin/mod on the Steemit platform?

Yes the duties of a Steem representative is quite similar to the duties of an admin or moderator of a specific community but there are some points or duties of SR which is quite different from the duties of a admin or moderator. I'm also working as a moderator in two different communities and I'm well aware of my responsibilities which I'm performing very well. Let's have a look at the key difference between the responsibilities of a DR and moderators.

• The SR has to represent all the communities of his country and the users working in them. While the admin or moderator of a specific community has to work only in that community.

• The SR has to support the whole platform through his contributions and organizing different initiatives which are beneficial for whole platform while the moderator or admin has to support that one community in which he is working.

• The SR is selected on the basis of his reputation and contributions to the platform while the moderator is selected on the basis of criteria which is set by that specific community.

• A moderator has to review the Posts within that one specific community while the SR are allowed to review any post in any Community.

Give one example that you think the duties of an SR really help the Steemit Team for the growth of the platform and users, both for the country and globally. (You are allowed to take a screenshot of one of SR's activities, either post or comments narrative and include the link)

Yes there I would like to talk about my favorite Steem representative which is belongs to my own country pakistan. She is one and only @suboohi Mam. She has been selected as a Steem representative in the last year and since than she is performing her duties Nicely. Whenever I faced any problem regarding Steemit I went towards her and solved that problem in a few minutes. She is the admin of two successful communities which are Steem For Pakistan and Healthy Steem also. Building a new community and than making it successful isn't everyone's cup of tea.

But she has done it and through these both communities she has extended her duties and responsibilities on the Steem Blockchain. And I think that her these contributions has positively affected the whole platform as she has played a vital role in making that platform successful. The reason is that through building these communities she has gained the attention of many Steemian and in the these communities I always see her organizing amazing contests and supporting the people in them. So these both things has helped the Steemit team for the betterment of platform and also helped the Steemians.

If you are elected as an SR, apart from carrying out the main duties of the Steemit Team, what new things will you do to help the growth of the platform and users?

Yes When I will select as a Steem representative than I will try my best to carry the main duties of the Steemit team and try make that platform more successful. I will also encourage and guide the Steemians to get success on that platform. To increase my responsibilities and to make that platform strong I will try to build a new community through which I can increase the opportunities for Steemians to increase their engagement through participating in different contests. Also besides this I will try to bring many new things to the platform.
