"Difficult to Get Married! Why?"

Marriage is a beautiful thing as many young people look forward to their wedding day. Some kids can't wait to get married, maidens always discussing about their prince Charming with their friends,many parents in this part of the world can't wait for their kids to get married. Infact to many marriage is not just as an achievement but an act of worship and service to God Almighty.

A Lot of things can contribute to that, such as upbringing, environment, a person's past traumatic experience or a previous relationship that wasn't healthy. Globally, Divorce rate keeps soaring high as the year changes. Marriages and relationships between husbands and wives, boyfriend's and girlfriends all hitting the rock.The men blaming the women and vice-versa.

Divorce is probably one of the major cause why men and women are reluctant to marry in the 21st Century.Young people see couples getting divorce everyday and it makes them scared of giving their hearts, bodies and souls to people. The Cost of Living has also impacted on why men and women are reluctant to get married

Companionship is one of the importance of marriage, knowing your partner is your friend,your go-to person,provides emotional support to you is quite healthy for one mental health and support.

Another major importance of marriage for couples is procreation;the ultimate desire to have children who bring so much joy and happiness to their parents.Children are like little angels who bring sunshine into their families.Parents procreate so that the young ones can carry on with their legacy.

Premarital Sex which could lead to high rate of contracting HIV/Aids and other sexual related diseases.The issue of Abortion which could lead to death of women if not properly conducted.

Also, another underlying risk involved if men and women don't get married has to do with the discontinuation of their family tree i.e generations.It will bring an end to one's family lineage,succession plan,end of a bloodline vis-a-vis the end of one's existence as some Africans will put it.

The issue of low population will also arise which on a long run have dire consequence on the economic fortune of a nation which will inturn leads to low productivity, inadequate manpower to manned critical sectors of the economy.In this part of the world where religion plays a vital role,marriage is highly encouraged.

There is society stigmatization where unmarried people are frowned at and discriminated most especially the women For Women,there is issue of Menopause;which affects chances of older women giving birth
