Dream of becoming a Steem Representative (SR)"

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here again to take part in this week's challenge, being a leader is something I have seen in my lifestyle. My dream of becoming a steem representative must one day become a reality on this blockchain .

Do you want to become one of the Steem Representatives? Why and what were your efforts to get elected?

I so much admire the role of steem representative, having seen them perform thier duties diligently and honestly, carrying every user along makes me want to become one of them because I posses the traits. I have the ability to and power of convincing people positively. The power to direct, cooperate and organise things in order to achieve a good result.

I have known the rules of becoming a steem representative. Therefore building my steem power to a very reasonable amount is my priority. Having a good records and making sure my blog is free from plagiarism and other abusive conducts are also the efforts I'm making to become one of the steem representative one day.

Mention some of the duties of a Steem Rep that you know and what is the big influence on the growth of steemians and the platform?

The duties of the steem Rep is to support other users in the blog.
They also have the power to execute an achievable and valuable project within thier locality.
They also have the power to mentor and organise contest in the platform.

We all know that there are hierarchies of leadership in any organisation, as such that of steem Reps are well respected on steemit. They use their influence to coordinate and promote steemit to both old and new users while supporting with their steem power.

How do the duties and responsibilities of a Steem Representative differ from a community admin/mod on the Steemit platform?

Their duties are similarly the same but that of steem representative are more complex.

Steem Reps can organise a project that can be support by 01 and 02, their major concern is about the growth of the platform irrespective of the community. While Adm and moderators are particular about their communities making sure posts are verified and checked.

Give one example that you think the duties of an SR really help the Steemit Team for the growth of the platform and users, both for the country and globally. (You are allowed to take a screenshot of one of SR's activities, either post or comments narrative and include the link)

Let me take this energetic steem Rep as an example(@disconnect ). He has been up and doing making sure contest are at users reach . Being active and powering up is one of the characteristics of a steem representative @disconnect has shown beyond doubt his roles .Click here to find out his latest updates on steemit contest topics
His consistency is a motivating factor to upcoming steemians globally. He's commitment in terms of holding steem power for a long time is of great benefits to the platform and steemit users. Kudos sir.

If you are elected as an SR, apart from carrying out the main duties of the Steemit Team, what new things will you do to help the growth of the platform and users?

The current elected SR are doing amazing work on the platform. But if I'm elected i will make sure moderators are being compensated by the steemit team. This set of workers are somehow neglected regardless of their duties of verifying, hosting contest for the growth of the platform. I will make sure atleast their reports are supported.

Users who are actively commenting and supporting others will be getting rewards every week , this will increase the spirit of engagement in the platform.

Then lastly, power up post will also be considered important to enable more users to participate in powering up.

Leadership comes with lots of responsibilities, if anyone is opportune to be a leader it's good to discharge his or her duties without favoritism. Having in mind that many are looking up to be like them.
