Steemit Engagement Challenge S6W1 :Tips for doing steemit promos

Hello guys, I bring you greetings from this side of the clime. Guess we are all following the steemit engagement challenge. This should be my second participation for the week and I'm gland making my second entry into this noble community " Steem Indonesia". From this week's contest on Game Diary with Promo Steem, I will be making my submission in the same regard.

Steemit platform has been one platform that since my engagement in November 2020, has reduced my overbearing activities in other centralized platforms like Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and Twitter and to date drags competitively with the WhatsApp platform. This simply shows how rewarding it is and engaging despite the dwindling value and support received currently. That is to say, one should also in the spirit of fairness, communicate and promote the activities of the steemit platform.

My unalloyed support for this platform varies from my mode of engagement to friends, families, and colleagues. It happens I work in the public sector and hence use this avenue as my meeting point to engage prospective and already existing users in the platform. On a fateful day, I was able to assemble a team of prospective users of the platform and newbies who wanted to know more about the platform on the weekend.

I was able to tutor them and threw more light on the platform, the benefits, and the reward system. It was at least a minimum of 2-hour training/learning which was however productive and interesting.

On the other hand, I implored the use of one-on-one promotional methods, especially at my leisure. At this time, I engage with friends in my closet at my workplace. We surf through the steemit platform with lots of explanations made for clarification and participation in the system.

My Journey and the introduction of Steemit to my Prospects

Who does not want to be rewarded just for publishing quality content? There is no educated person that is internet savvy that wouldn't want to dive at the mention of steemit and all of its benefits. One of the major limiting factors is poor awareness of the platform and little or no promotional activities done for the propagation of its whole activities in the decentralized space.

When I joined steemit sometime in November 2020, I made my achievement tasks and some other posts on "My town in 20 pics" and contest topics with corresponding upvotes. Those were my selling and were vital points in convincing my prospects and newbies to carry on with the platform activities. Though to participate in the platform, one needs a laptop or an internet-access mobile device, as well data connection. However, it was a win-win situation for all that tried it out with the achievement task posts.

I was also able to update some statues on my social media handles and funnily people were amazed such a platform existed and with such a reward scheme. It was unbelievable to them but when they were introduced practically with onboarding them properly, it was a landmark breakthrough.

I will be giving us their feedback before joining the platform and when they have joined because most of the time they misunderstood the integrity of how beat the system works.

When this platform was introduced to them, they were all interested and smiles to participate without wasting time. And they all did onboarding and hence expected all the rewards therein which were received. But at this time, the rewards received from the newcomer's community were observed to be low and most diary articles posted were also poorly upvoted by the communities.

Life as a blogger was no longer perceived as when they were told about the platform. This was basically due to the poor curation activities on their articles. They failed to understand that these upvotes are not guaranteed and in this case, some or most of their articles outside the newcomer's community are not curated. They go as long as saying that the system is skewed in such a manner that few persons are favored over others may be due to their long stay in the platform or favoritism.

When viewed by me, I was able to reach out to some of them that what brings influence to any user in the system is SP and as well as the quality of articles posted on the platform. Despite the skewed curation activities observed, one can still make investments capable of driving influence in the platform. Recently, communities are charged to increase their influence to drive more curation activities to all concerned especially the newbies.

In Conclusion, the issue of promo steem is an event that should be continuous to bring about wider participation and usage of the steem token and steemit platform. Though there would be challenges in the retention of users who are aggrieved and couldn't muscle the curation drought, the steemit team and communities are now at the forefront of correcting some of these anomalies.
