Steemit Engagement Challenge - S6W3: The Life of a Student in Higher School

I was privileged to attend one of the Federal universities in my state and when I got admitted to the school, it was still a baby university it was not up to 10 years so the staff gave us their best to see that we all graduated with flying colors. I had good and bad experiences at the school but the good experience was much more than the bad experience I had during my college days.

Some of the things I disliked about my high school days was the fact that some lecturers usually fixed lectures by 6:00 am and sometimes you will come to the class and he will call us and say that the class has been adjourned till 2:00 pm or it has been canceled. Those moments are the moment I dislike the most because my house was kind of far from the school and after waking up early and coming down to the school thinking the lecture will hold but they will tell another story😥 seriously it's very annoying but one can not do anything about it because good things don't come easy.

My horror experience at school was the day I and my friend went to the class to study in the evening, around 10:00 pm we decided to go home without waiting for our male friend which we normally go home after our evening studies. Reaching our junction we saw some guys standing at the road site, I was already scared so I told myself that we should run because the guys were coming toward our direction. Immediately we started running the guys were following us, reaching home I was expecting to see my two friends but it was unfortunate that one among them was captured by those guys.

We were so scared to go looking for her, but when the guys in my compound were coming back from school they saw her dead body laying at the junction without some of her body parts. That day I was so worried, I cried but there was nothing I could do about it. We went and report the case to the school management, and a month after the school found out that they were culties boys from another school. But the management make sure that they were arrested. This was a horrible experience during my high school days.

My unforgettable experience was during my first year at the school, during that period we usually have lectures with other departments so most often than known the class was too small for us and there were not enough seats before one can get the seat you had to come very early to the lecture venue if not you will not learn anything for that day.

Sometimes the lecture venue will be changed by the lectures, and if that happens you will see everyone running with his or her plastic chair just to set in the front in other to get the full lectures. This experience was annoying but fun at the same time because anytime I remember it I usually laugh at myself.

When I entered high school, everywhere was just new to me and I don't know my way around the offices, during my registration I woke from one woke way to another but at some point, I met with some friends who were also new at the school so we were busy working up and down together.

If we ask questions they will direct us to a different place and if we reached that place another person will still direct us to another place, it was not easy at all going to a school where you don't the direction. This experience is also in my head and I won't forget it easily.

The only day I can't forget is the day I lost my dear friend, her memories keep ringing in my head since that incident happened. It was a bad experience and I will never forget it. I missed her so much.😪

In high school, there are numerous experiences that one can have they are:

• In high school one can learn both the good and the bad character, they always say the first people you met during high school will determine the type of life you will live at the school.
• At high school, you will learn how to manage time because as I said earlier some lecturers will just fix lectures at any time and any day of their choice.
• In high school, you will also meet some people who will change your life for good.
• One will also learn how to live on his own without his parent being there always.
• At high school, you will learn how to live with people and also learn from other cultures. Because in school people come from different state and local governments so you will get to learn a lot from others as you will also share your knowledge with them.

In conclusion, High school life is one of the best experiences one can ever have in life, both good and bad. But it's always fun.
