Chapultepec Park which is located in Mexico City is among the largest and the most recognized urban parks around the globe. Spanning more than 1 600 acres, it acts as a cultural, recreational and ecological center. The park also contains a few other important landmarks which include Chapultepec Castle, now a museum and the famous National Museum of Anthropology. People can take part in some of the activities, which include riding on the lakes with boats, walking through the thick and green forests, and walking through the beautiful paths. The park has several sections with areas for family outings, play areas and even sports sections. Because Chapultepec has been called ‘the lungs of Mexico City’, it serves the purpose of a green overbuild and a rest place and such qualities make sure that both local people and tourists like visiting this park.
