Halloween, like every other holiday, is held each year on the last day of October, and with this event comes the particular mystique that is too common among people and the enchantment that seems to be so common all around the village. Peeking through these, there is a brave lady with a long pointed black hat – a witch to be precise. There are gnarled trees alluded to in the moonlight, and silhouetted against this landscape is a creeping figure.
Witches have always been part of ghost stories that circulate with the onset of All Hallows' Eve. They comprise the concepts that one can hardly fathom. Halloween costumes: black capes and huge round black hats, potions and cauldrons in bubbling menacing situations. The act of trick-or-treating is a spectacle that is creatively appealing to children and even adults, especially because of tales about witches flying over towns with their broomsticks.
When the sun starts to fade away the shadows seem to stretch and they can start to feel the witch’s presence aggressively. People spoke in hushed tones and their thoughts vanished into the air as if nature burned with her magic. Halloween has never been only about scaring people; it is an homage to concealed wonders. Such time blesses people with the opportunities to explore the dark which enkindles the creativity of people and confronts them with the fact that some magic is always all around mates.
