Fall’s Vineyard Glory

With the changing of the seasons comes the season of harvest, the most celebrated period of the agriculture calendar, and it is also the time when the vineyards become a sight to behold with a burst of colour and activities. The green leaves on the vines that were once so prominent change to beautiful gold, maroon and other shades of russets against a clear blue sky. All these changes of season increase the beauty of the views and also mark the onset of harvesting periods.

Ladles and young men do not waste time clasping chubby bunches of hanging vines; they understand the softness of the fruits as well as their perishable nature. Each and every firm cluster is picked systematically little by little in preparation for the finest of wines. One can smell the mixed fragrance of the clustering grapes’ sweetness and decayed leaves’ mud which somewhat brings uplifting feelings.

With the hues of dusk being painted the sun slowly disappears beneath the horizon and a flurry of activity instantly engulfs the vineyard. Tasting rooms greet guests yearning to taste the season’s offerings in honor of their hard work.

In such beautiful places, the fall season serves more as a period for the act of appreciating than for the act of working; it signifies the relationship between the nature and the hands catering for it. The vineyard cultivates, not only the grapes and other ingredients necessary for wine production, but unites people to enjoy the harvest season.
