Allure of Frozen Oceanic Landscapes

While perusing the boundary where the sea and ice intersect, one bears witness to the greatest artistic display of nature. This is a place where ice protrusions can be seen in the waters and these are some of the areas that glimmer with soft rays from above the sky. The sky takes on the shape of the horizon, where haze of white and grey clouds intrudes from above and the sun desires to break through it for a phosphate light show over the surface.

On the other hand, the embrace of the water and sea is a deep blue which looks wonderful, especially when accompanied by diamond-like clear ice. The edges of the farthest waves that had frozen are being caressed by the waves, making a soft serenade one would sing in a quiet solace, far from civilization. Seabirds hunt about, whaling sounds in return, enhancing even more the quietness of the ambiance.

In the course of a given day, there is a continuous tension between darkness and light, with light and shadow being added to the scene as the clouds begin to move. The dusk of the day paints a portion of the clouds with various colors of orange and even pink, which are ultimately seen in the frozen parts of the sea below.

This tenth wonder from the edge of the sea is filled with reveries and peering into consciousness of the spectators. Even when one is surrounded with such landscapes of ice, it does not leak the exoticism that many landscapes possess.
