Among the many insects that most people see flying around our surroundings, honey bees have been the most useful. In addition to their ability to make tasty honey, these bees are known to rush to pink flowering plants and other reproductive plants in order to transfer pollen, which is an important and a basic requirement if the flowering plants are to survive and grow. Plants such as those colorful pinkflowers do not just beautify the garden and landscapes but blooms bright and has sweet nectar, which a bee loves as it retrieves nectar from the flower.

As bees suck the nectar from the pink flowers, honey is produced but in the process transferring pollen from one flower to the next. This very act of pollination enables the plant to reproduce, thus producing fruits and seeds. If there were no bees, many of those delicable fruits and vegetables we love would have trouble growing and therefore making daily meals devoid of great value.

The association that exists between the honey bees and the flowers is quite one of the best examples of how the working of nature depend on one another. In a garden setting, one can plant striking pink colored flowers such as the flowering cherry, peony, pink cosmos or any other variety and the bees will flourish hence promoting the ecosystem.

Managed plantings shall serve as a means of fostering honey bees and consuming more environmental friendly gardening. There is nothing more satisfying than rearing the bees enabling us to have a clean and sweet world and also appreciating the beauty in nature’s diversity.
