Make it fit

I've been rebuilding some plans in Fusion360 of some deckchairs that were my first ever real woodworking project. The reason for rebuilding is that I've updated the builds with a couple of fancy features not found in the original plans found on Ana White namely I've replaced bolts with dowels as the bolts were potentially detrimental for any plans of skin remaining on the body.

Luckily creating plans from a prototype is a lot easier than drawing from scratch and then building a prototype to see if it works out.

In this build, I was trying to rack my brains how the two sections fitted together so I've pulled everything apart in order to fit the pieces in place piece by piece as I'm designing.

The thing with this process is that it's exactly the same as when we're trying to build a project. Always dry-fit the pieces before glueing, screwing, or nailing. That way you make way less stuff-ups than what I made when I originally completed this project.
