In my opinion, this guy is damn special.

When you see Messi play, it is like relishing your favourite pizza. It is so beautiful and you are out of words to describe him. He makes everything so easy & effortless.

Goal Scoring.

Messi can create goals against any team and any angle. He doesn’t have the speed but when he is with the ball, he will still slice through the field, because of his vision to find the tiny spaces, then dribble through any number of player you throw at him and most of the time he will enter the box, withstand any fouls the players commit even when he is man marked like hell and find the tiny of the spaces to dribble through and get ahead and then score sometimes from crazy angles. Messi can score all types of goals- be it dribbling past a bunch of defenders, freekicks, chipping over the keeper, tap-ins, penalties, power-shots, e.t.c.
Luis Figo, who played with CR7 once said, “For me, to watch Messi play is a pleasure, it’s like having an orgasm. it’s an incredible pleasure.”

A Winner's Mindset.

Messi never dives. He is not dependent on any other factor than himself in scoring goals. Even in the ugliest of tackles, Messi wouldn’t wait for a penalty or a freekick unless the referee comes up with this decision. That is a mindset of a winner.

Many a time a player would dive. Many players have the tendency to dive, but there are players who don’t dive also, still, even those players don’t have it in them to continue the attack after they have fallen down after a bad foul on them. Which means, they are dependent on other factors like, referee decisions or mistakes by opponents for them to get goals.

Dribbling.

Messi can successfully walk through the defenders as if no one is in his way. When you look at Messi’s dribbles, you can see that sometimes, there are more than 2 defenders trying to block him and him dribbling past them successfully. Many a times, his dribbles always don’t start from the wings, he starts the run from the half-line and gets to the Dbox easily.

You will be seriously mistaken if you think that Ronaldo comes close to Messi when it comes to assists, playmaking and controlling the tempo of the game.
