CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DRAWS AND MY ANALYSIS

Finally, the long awaited Champions League draw is out. I think the draws are awesome but the hardest group seem to be group B. Atletico Madrid is a big issue to Liverpool, remember last two seasons ago A. Madrid knocked out Liverpool but I believe this time will be different. Also, both AC Milan and Liverpool has a good record between each other. Placed each other twice in the CL finals and win each other.

One unique about these group all have won the CL expect A. Madrid but has proven to be one of the best team in CL for over 6 years now playing 3 finals without winning any making them three time runners. AC Milan won the league 7 good times and Porto won it twice, while Liverpool has won it 6 good times. As such, I recommend this group as the toughest.

I see Liverpool & A. Madrid topping the group while AC Milan claim the Europa League spot.

Man City, PSG, RB Leipzig and Club Brugge all falls in group A. I was so happy when i heard the transfer of L. messi moving from Barcelona to Paris. I love his style of play but I see him struggle in Paris because of his age, he might not do the same he did at Barcelona. Most people sees Paris as the favourite to lift the competition after the signing of Messi.

If Kylian Mbappé remains without going to Real Madrid, meaning the team will become more dangerous and I see them as one of my favourite. However, I see no competition for both City and Paris. Pep Guardiola's team beats RB Leipzig last season, I see RB Leipzig to claim the Europa League spot ahead of Belgian champions Club Brugge.

I categorised all the teams in Group C in the same level which will make the group more difficult and very hard to decide who will top the group. However, I see four-time Champions League winners Ajax and Borussia Dortmund topping the league while Portuguese champions Sporting, and Besiktas battling it out for the Europa league.

In Group D, I see no team competing with Real Madrid who have won the competition a record 13 times. Although, the Italian champions Inter Milan might offer some competition to Real Madrid. I see the both team topping the group, and Shakhtar Donetsk and Sheriff Tiraspol battling for the Europa league. It is a great privileged to Sheriff Triaspol who are the first Moldovan side to compete in the Champions League but i see them as on the bottom.

In group E, I see no competition for both Bayern Munich and Barcelona who have won 11 Champions Leagues between them( Bayern Munich 6 times, while Barcelona 5 times. Well, I see Bayern as the top because Barcelona will be missing Messi for the first time in 17years which will really affect them to compete Bayern in the competition. Perhaps, Benfica and Ukrainian title-winners Dynamo Kiev have to battle it out for the Europa League spot but i will go for Benefica.

Last season's Europa League final, Villarreal knocked Manchester United out on penalties. The both are drawn in the same group F but I see Manchester United and Atalanta topping Group F. Villarreal and Swiss champions Young Boys will battle it out for the Europe league spot but I sees Unai's team as the favourite to claim the Europa league spot.

Group G is another group that have similar levels of teams. Well, i will go for French title winners Lille, and Sevilla to top the group while Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg and Wolfsburg will battle it out for the Europa league spot but I see Wolfsburg as claiming the spot.

Chelsea won last season's final to lift their second Champions League trophy beating Manchester City (1.0). I see Chelsea and Juventus topping the group H. Perhaps, Russian champions Zenit and Swedish champions Malmo will battle it out for the third place but Zenit will defeat them to claim the Europa spot.

I know most of the football lovers will be asking when will it begins because they can wait to watch their teams most especially Paris in order to watch L. Messi. The group stage of the competition will begin on September 14th & 15th while the final will be held in St Petersburg on May 28, 2022.

My prediction for the Champions League winner will be after the round of 16 draw. For now, I haven't seen any yet.
