Most of the big clubs have already secured a place in the next knockout stage of the competition. However, some of them are also struggling to make it to the knockout stage.
Group A

Coming from group A which was anticipated to be the group of death during the first draw,
Manchester City has 12 points staying on top of the table. PSG also with 4 points behind Manchester City at the 2nd position. Both RB Leipzig and Club Brugg with 4 points each.
The group turned out to be very easy for Manchester City and PSG to qualify after all.
Now we wait to see some magic from both Manchester City and PSG in the round of 16.
Group B

Coming from group B,
Liverpool has won all their five matches which keeps them on top of their table with 15 points. Liverpool becomes the only team in group 2 who has qualified for the next stage. However, FC Porto AC Milan and Athletico Madrid have 5,4,4 points respectively which suggests that any of the three teams could join Liverpool to the next stage.
Initially, this group was also tipped for a tough group until Liverpool proved their world-class.
Group C

Coming from group C,
Ajax Amsterdam has also won all their five games to secure a comfortable spot in the next stage. Behind Ajax are Sporting, Dortmund and Besiktas with 9, 6, 0 points respectively. Sporting has also qualified although they have a very narrow chance of dropping to the third position.
This group was also classified as equal strength teams until Ajax proved their talents.
Group D

Coming from group D,
Real Madrid and Inter Milan have qualified with 12 and 10 points respectively. However, the first position is not yet certain until the final game.
Both Sheriff and Shakhtar have 6 and 1 point respectively. In the initial stage of the competition, Sheriff won their first two games which could have been a massive start for them to qualify. However, they haven’t produced any better results till now.
Shakhtar on the other hand has been a massive disappointment after pulling a very bad competition.
Group E

Group E is a very thrilling one.
Bayern Munich has won all their five games to secure a spot in the first knockout stage of the competition. That leaves Barcelona with 7 points in the second position and Benfica with 5 points in the 3rd position and Dynamo Kyiv with just a point at the bottom. However, Barcelona is facing Bayern Munich in their final game away from home whereas Benfica faces Dynamo Kyiv in the final game.
This brings us to the big question of Barcelona can qualify for the next round or would play in the Europa league again for the first time in years.
Group F

Coming from the group F,
Manchester United has also qualified to the next stage of the competition with 10 points on top of the league table. Leaving Villarreal and Atalanta in the 2nd and 3rd position both with 7 and 6 points. Their qualification depends on their final game.
Villarreal has the advantage since a draw game could seal him through.
Group G

Coming from group G,
This is the most competitive group so far since all the four teams are same-level teams competing to qualify. Lille is on top with 8 points, Salzburg with 7 points, Sevilla with 6, and Wolfsburg with 5 points. This suggests that non of these teams has already qualified since their qualification would depend on their final game.
Group H

Coming from group H,
Both Chelsea and Juventus have 12 points but Chelsea stays on top with more goal difference. Both Chelsea and Juventus have lost one game each. Juventus won their first game against Chelsea but they lost their 2nd game against Chelsea which makes them even.
The Bayern group is becoming more interesting
I hope the great Benefica qualifies
