The Uefa Europa league witnessed one of the most exciting fixtures. This caliber of match is mostly played in the Champions league football as all these teams have really played well in the champions. And they have met so many occasion in the champions league.

Before this match they have met 9 times with United(3)having the upper hand over Milan(2) and 4 draws.
So Ac Milan was really going into this game to level winnings whilst United was also hoping to continue their lead.
This was the first time they are meeting in the Uefa Europa league, all their 9 meetings have been In the champions league.

Franck Kessie in the 12th had his goal over turned by VAR. United opened the scores in the 50th minute through Amad Diallo heading wide from Bruno Fenandes free kick.
United had all the better chances to extend their League but it was Ac Milan who kept their composure and they were rewarded with a late goal from Simon Kjaer who benefited from a corner swing in by Rade Krunic
The second league in San Siro will determine who advances into the next stage of the competition.
