The group stages of the Euros 2020 championship kicked off last week Friday and since then we have been met with very entertaining matches and some other disappointing clashes.

The Game of the Week in my opinion this week is Portugal vs Germany in the group of death. This would kicked off at 19:00 in Munich where arguably two of the favourites would go toe to toe.

Portugal are reigning champions of the competition having being crowned champions in the last edition. But this would be the fifth time both teams are facing each other in the Euros Competition.

Portugal have such a good squad who haven't been at their best so far in this competition but it won't be easy since Germany have a very good squad of their own.

This should be a very entertaining match.

Predicted Line - Up:

Portugal:

Rui Patricio, Nelson Semedo, Pepe, Ruben Dias, Raphael Gurreiro, Danilo Pereira, William Carvalho, Bernard Silva, Bruno Fernandes, Diego Jota, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Germany:

Manuel Neur, Matthias Ginter, Mats Hummels, Antonio Rudiger,
Joshua Kimmich, Ilkay Gundogan, Toni Kroos, Robin Gosens, Kai Havertz, Thomas Muller, Serge Gnabry.

Key Men.

Portugal: Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the very best footballers we have who has scored a lot of goals and broken a lot of records. He became the competition's leading goalscorer after scoring twice last week.

He would be looking to add to his goals and defend his country's title. He has also never scored against Germany and should be extra motivated to stop that 'curse'.

Germany: Thomas Muller.

There are a lot of options to choose from but I'm going with Muller because he has been consistent over the last few years. He can create chances and scores a lot of goals too. He would be looking to lead his team to their first group stage victory.

He also has a hat trick to his name against Portugal in the past and should be very motivated to get more goals.

Kick off and Venue:

The match would start at 19:00 at the Allanz Arena in Munich.

Prediction: Portugal 2- Germany 2

I expect this to be very tough for both teams and end up in a 2-2 all draw.

This will be an easy game for Portugal, and Cristiano Ronaldo should get a goal.

I hope he gets one. I want this game to be interesting.
