Hi worldoffootball fans, it's been a while since I posted here. I'm glad to be back here and I just wanna talk a little about one big news that's been going around the football world.
It's nowhere near impossible to see many of Real Madrid stars leave due to the heavy toll covid had on their finances. This comes as great news for other football teams since they can actually take advantage of this to get some players from Madrid.
Though Real Madrid are still doing great, they have several high wage players on their payroll coupled with other staff they need to cover. As such, current contracts are likely to see a maintained salary or a slight wage cut.
You can check out the salaries of the players here.
Some are ridiculously high than expected, especially taking their performance into consideration.
Just last month, we saw one of the defensive strongholds and possibly the backbone of Madrid's center backs Sergio Ramos, leave to Paris Saint Germaine. It seems there was disagreement with Florentino Perez concerning the terms of his contract duration both as a player and the possibility of his future as a coach of the club couldn't be reached. There are other speculations about his departure but the one stated seems more plausible.
Now there is another situation at hand which might weaken Madrid's central defense and this has to do with the sudden interest of Rafael Varane in Manchester United. Current reports say that the center back is interested in a new challenge and I think the EPL presents a good one for him. As a United fan myself, I wouldn't be any happier if Varane joins the team. Our defense system is weak and substituting Lindelof for Varane will help fortify the defense I reckon. Varane's appearance will also throw a challenge for the rest of the defenders to up their game.
Similar to the taste of the United fans, the manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also has his eyes on Varane as a potential signing. He believes that teaming up with a counterpart, which is obviously Harry Maguire, could be great thing and such a connection could carry them further than they did last season.
I doubt there has been any official bid for him yet(which is one thing i really hate about the team, they delay too much) but he is certainly on the list. Also, looking at the salary and wages Man United is known for, I think they can safely come to an agreement once all parties are in agreement.
I really hope Varane joins Manchester United and I know with him as part of our defence, most of the unnecessary goals we've been conceding will be something of the past.
I wish I could shout "WELCOME TO THE THEATRE OF DREAMS VARANE!" but he's not here yet so...☹
Thanks for reading.

Next season will probably be very tough
for Madrid seeing that many stars are leaving.
I think they'll need several replacements soon.
