Hello, World of Football Community!
Today's turn:
Augustine Azuka "Jay-Jay" Muhammed Yavuz Okocha

Profile
He became known in football world due to his participation with Eintracht Frankfurt. Probably, one of the most memorable goals of his owns to this German period, when he danced everybody in the penalty box, including the legendary goalkeeper Oliver Kahn .
Other clubs he played for include Fenerbahçe, Paris Saint-Germain and Bolton Wanderers. He had great perfomances particularly in this English club. He arrived there in 2002 and left in 2006. Although the number of goals (14) was not so high in such period in comparison to the total number of games (124), Bolton fans loved him as he was always committed to win and to be himself a show in the field.
But maybe the highest point of his career was Atlanta 1996. He took part of the Nigeria national team that won the gold in the Olympics that year, becoming the only country, apart from Cameroon, on reaching such position.
Curiosities:
—He invented the "The Okocha Turn" or "The Okocha" , which is a football trick has been used even by players like Cristiano Ronaldo.
— His goal against Karlsruher SC in 1993 was voted as the Goal of the year in the Bundesliga.
—He pretends to be the president of the Nigeria Football Federation.
Why he was recognized for?
Many have taken Jay-Jay Okocha as a simple trickster, but he isn't just that, he is a trickmaster. Whatever he went, he showed his skilful, creative and fast plays. Either the rival players or the fans knew what to expect from his magical feet. Even great free kicks could appear from his wand.
As an attacking midfielder, he successfully came to be a threat every time he reached rival field. That is, he worked both like a playmaker and a running show. His trademark Okocha Turn was something implicit in every attack.
And, taking all this into account, it is not rare then some say he was Ronaldinho's mentor when both players shared games at PSG.
So, it doesn't make sense now where Dinho's got all his magic?
Why do I like Jay-Jay Okocha's game?
Although I wasn't able to watch any of his games, the records on the internet have been fantastic to review. Okocha, as I said above, was a tricksmater who could pull any stroke of genius out of his hat at any time. I think such unpredictability is what gives me the most joy. I admire players who are able to go the extra mile and give us a different play, away from the often boring tactical schemes we witness so much today.
Such skilful bright is something we're missing more and more in the current times, aren't we?
Take a look at what I am talking about:
Conclusion
With this post I wanted to remember a player who impressed me when I heard about him and who undoubtedly inspired me to manage myself better on the field when I had the ball at my feet. This is, to love football more. I hope you do, too.

Certainly one of the best Nigerian players to grace the football space. Very agile and incredibly skillful.
Just look at what he did at Eintranch Frankfurt, spectacular.
