Today's televised game was Angers-Paris Saint Germain, this time PSG had all its players so there is no excuse, the team is playing real bad, you know Angers is a low level team and there was not much difference between what both teams showed, no showing by Mbappe, Neymar Di Maria etc. This Covid-19 has football in pretty bad shape, if you notice in all the top leagues it is getting usual for the top five to draw their games when a win sends them to the top, it seems physically they are just not up to it.
PSG tried in the first half but had nothing much to show for it, Angers defended well and in fact didn't even have to defend that much, the game was all tied up in the mid field with very few attacking ideas by both teams, that is how the first half ended, cold as I imagine the night was in France.
The second half one would have thought of a different PSG but no the same showing, of course you can notice the difference between the quality of the players between the two teams but somehow the games are not dominated completely by the supposedly better side, i guess the budget difference between these two teams must be enormous. But as always is the case a nice attack by PSG and goal, enough to win the game and to send PSG to the head of the table, but still a bad game and Lyon can overtake PSG as they have one game pending.
Neymar played well, but it seems he still doesn't have the final touch I am used to seeing in him seems he outthinks himself and commits childish mistakes, well I can expect things to get better, perhaps once the spring hits Europe.
