Even though this is an Europa League game I know Barcelona still has a huge fan base so I will write about this game. The first half showed a better Napoli, with a much better idea of what they wanted plus they have a great defense. Barcelona tried but Napoli were covering much of the ground and took advantage in the 29 minute with a Zielinski goal. The rest of this half was monotonous with neither side going all out.
The second half was different, Barcelona showed much more spirit and this was rewarded when they were given a penalty scored by Ferran Torres. Was it a penalty? Frankly I didn't even see the ball touch the defender's hand but if it did the penalty was well given. And after this Barcelona tried everything to win, but it was not to be. Dembele came in as a substitute and he frankly had a good game. Perhaps better times are coming for Barcelona, but for now they face a tough away game against Napoli.
