I was waiting for this game all week as I am a Liverpool fan, I was kind of worried as the game was at Old Trafford and MU do have some very good players. Somehow, I forgot about it and went out for my walk, I was a long way from home when I remembered and I hurried back, managed to see the last 20 minutes.
The score was already 0-5 and MU were actually just defending themselves to prevent more Liverpool goals, Liverpool on the other hand were not doing much to score another goal, mostly they were just passing the ball around, still during the minutes I watched they could have scored three more goals, although I have to admit MU could have scored one too. I was rooting for a 0-7 just to keep pace with Chelsea, and it seems from a comment I read on the Guardian, Everton fans wanted that too, as it would have put them above MU.
Conclusions from this game for me are:
- Klopp has a very good team
- Salah is probably in his best form ever
- Liverpool are definitely title contenders along with ManC and Chelsea
- MU need to change their coaching staff ASAP
Anyway it is a good Sunday for me, now I need that my country's football League team I follow, Motagua, wins today.
The game was very easy for Liverpool and a horrendous performance from Man United. There has been no progress all season, the coach needs to leave or change his coaching team. #oleout
