This is one game I never worry about, I don't like Barcelona and I like Real Madrid even less. Still it is interesting to see this Real Madrid loss at home and with that score. Barcelona is like a rollercoaster ups and downs but for Real Madrid fans it must be worrying to know that without Benzema the team just can't score. And to complicate things even further he turns 35 in December.
I could not watch the game even if I had wanted to we had an energy shutdown due to maintenance all day long. But I read the recap of the game on AS, the Spanish sports magazine and they are always slightly biased towards Real Madrid and they agree Barcelona owned Real today. In the comments Real fans were defending themselves saying this is Barcelona's high for the year and the only thing they will get out of it.
I don't see it that way, Barcelona are making a new team and are beginning to look better, Real next year will be in big trouble, Kroos is 32, Modric going on 37, Carvajal 30, Lucas Vasquez 31. That is one of their problems age, the other problem is that the younger players are not that good, Vinicius is good at dribbling but that is about it, he nearly always gives bad passes and is not a good striker.
So that leaves Real Madrid with the hope that they can count with Halland or Mbappe for next year, some people say both of them, I don't think that would be possible, first of all would they be able to play together and second would Halland go there if Mbappe is there? Anyway one man will not solve their problems, they need a complete overhaul, defense and midfield. The question is, do they have the money it takes to rebuild the team?
