The Ghana Football Association has appointed Milovan Rajevac as the head coach of the National team.
Milo has he is affectionately called, has been brought in to replace the departing C.K. Akunnor, whose contract was terminated after the Black stars lost to South Africa in a world cup qualifying match.

The 67 year old coach will be assisted by Maxwell Konadu and Otto Addo, who will be combining this job with his role in Borussia Dortmund.
Former black stars goalkeeper Richard ‘Olele' Kingson has been appointed as the goalkeeper coach. He will be paid a monthly salary of US$30,000.

Milo is not a stranger to Ghana football. He was first appointed as Black stars coach in August 2008.
He took Ghana to the African Cup final where they painfully lost to Egypt in the final. He then led Ghana to a quarter final berth in the 2010 World cup in South Africa. He left aft the World cup.
His first task will be the double header against Zimbabwe, for which he has called up 32 players.

Some mainstays of the team such as Dede Ayew, Jordan Ayew and Jonathan Mensah have been called up.
Also included are some fresh faces like Swindon town goalie Jojo Wallocott and
Yeni Malatyaspor attacker Benjamin Tetteh have been called up.
Thomas Partey and Alfred Duncun also make a return after missing out on previous call-ups.
Richard Atta (Hearts of Oak), Ibrahim Danlad, (Asante Kotoko), Philemon Baffuor (Dreams FC) and Ismail Ganiyu (Asante Kotoko) were invited from the local league.

In Milo's first stint as Black stars coach, Ghana played 33 matches.
Black stars won 14 games, drew 7 and lost 12 games. The team scored 40 goals and conceded 32 goals.
