Lionel Messi won his seventh Ballon D'Or award, and currently, he is unarguably the greatest of all time in football history.
But the are some mistakes that was spotted despite a successful award presentation.
First, despite Lionel Andres Messi's tremendous statistics, I think the player who really deserve that French award is Robert Lewandowski. The reason is not far fetched, it is because he is a central striker and not a player maker like Lionel Messi.

For him to score such number of goals, that means he is really among the greatest of all time striker. He deserves the award last season, but they UEFA deprived him because of covid-19.
Again, the award that was given to Paris Saint Germain's goalkeeper, Gialuigi Donnarumma was not properly awarded. Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has done something which shows that he really deserve the award, judging from statistics and major trophies win.
