Hello everyone,

I am so happy to be with you all in this wonderful steemit community (World of football). I am a football lover and an Arsernal fan to be specific. My love for Arsenal stated way back in the 2000s, with the dominanance of Arsenal football club in the English premier League and their very interesting style of play under the reign of their ever longest serving coach by then (Arsen Wenger).

Today the 26/10/2021 at 19:45 kicked started the EFl cup compitition between Arsenal versus leeds united. First to start with, it has been a very difficult start of the football campaign for the Arsernal football club lossing three straight premier leagues matches, conceeding 9 goals and scoring non. Though there was a 6:0 away win to west Brom in the EFL cup first round on the 25th of August, it wasn't enough momentum to let the face the champions Manchester City away at the Etihad stadium on the 25 of August. Their visit to the Etihad stadium was marked by 5:0 defeat to the champions which made it their third straight league defeat.

This results or poor run has been followed by a rejuvenated performance winning 6 games and drawing 2 games in their last 8 games in all compititions (EFL cup and EPL). Today's win marks their third straight win in the EFL cup compitition, scoring 11 goals and conceeding 0. Today Arsenal beat Leeds United by 2 goals to 0. Goals from Calum Chambers and another beauty from Edward Nketiah. This win today takes Arsernal to the quater finals of the compition. It must be noted that their last season position finish means Arsernal won't be participating in any European compitition (UCL, UEAFA Europa League or the European Conference League).

Calum Chambers came on for the injured Ben White at the 54th minute of play, and his immidiate contribution at the 55th minute leed to a goal through a header that crossed the goal line by mili-metres. Leeds United mounted some pressure as desire for a response, but a beauty from Edward Nketiah at the 69th minute made it 2:0 up for Arsenal and calmed down the mumentum of the game.

As an Arsenal Fan, this unbeaten run means a lot and we hope to continue in this form to keep all players in the right state of mind.
Thank you all my fellow stemians at the world of football and football lovers as a whole for reading through.
