What an impressive run it's been for the blues. Football lovers all over the world agree it's a deserved win for Chelsea. Chelsea won the Champions League using 2 different managers; Frank Lampard, who helped the team progress from the group stage and the latter part of the competition handled by Thomas Tuchel after Frank Lampard was axed from the team.

Chelsea triumphed over teams like Atletico Madrid, Porto and Real Madrid to book a place in the final.
Manchester City being first time finalist were tipped to be winners of the cup because of their performance in the English Premier League and having beat teams like Bayern Monchegladbach, Dortmund and PSG to get to the final. They had already lost to Tuchel's side twice this season and a third will be bad for them.

In the middle as referee is Lahoz. The whistle is blown for the start of the second all English champions league finals. Both teams played so well and enjoyed the game. Half an hour, no goal from either sides. Injury took Chelsea defender Thiago Silva off in the 39th minute and had to replaced by Christensen.
Mason Mount finds Kai Havertz who went ahead to dribble past the goalkeeper and tap the ball into city's net in the 42nd minute. Chelsea get a first half lead.

Manchester City had to come with a Plan A for an equalizer and Plan B to score a winning goal. Both teams played interesting football with Chelsea protecting and City trying to find goals. Manchester City had their share of injuries when captain De Bruyne had to go off in the 60th minute.
Chelsea kept their cool and played very defensive and were good on the attack too. They held Manchester City to the 90th minute with their lead intact. Chelsea are Champions of the UEFA Champions League 2021.
Ngolo Kante again showed his masterclass and was the man of the match for the night.
