This news will come as no surprise to followers of Chelsea and the Premier League.
French striker Olivier Giroud has finally left Chelsea to sign for AC Milan on a 2 year deal changing both club and league. After nine years in the Premier League, the French international moves to Italy and the prestigious AC Milan who have paid a fee of €2m for the Chelsea man.
Giroud arrives at The San Siro to line up with another experienced striker in Zlatan Ibrahimovic and will be striving to reignite his career. He'll be aiming to keep his place in the French squad and reach 300 career goals (he's currently on 283).
To succeed in Milan though, Giroud will have to break the no. 9 curse which has plagued the shirt since the departure of Filippo Inzaghi - a challenge that should not scare France's all time 2nd highest goalscorer (behind the legend Thierry Henry).
I find this a surprising signing for the Rossoneri as they already have A LOT of experience in Ibrahimovic but perhaps they are hopeful that the comparatively youthful Giroud still has what it takes to compete at the top level.
Good luck Olivier.
Such a great player, i do not think Chelsea will allow him to go.

I thought they would let him go much sooner. This should free up some money to sign Haaland or Kane or another world class striker.
