THE WORLD CUP MASCOTS ART CONTEST - FRANCE 98

Hello People, I am very happy to participate in this contest theme, today I am going to talk about the world of 98, France 98, this was represented by a rooster, everyone knows that France on its shield there is a painted rooster so, I guess which is its representative symbol, in short the drawing shows you how the presentation of that World Cup was.

I personally like this World Cup a lot because it was the first World Cup I saw, I even managed to fill an album with the stadiums and players of the moment, I also remember it because I classify the Colombia team, the country where I am from, so I have That memory for the emotion of the people when they see the national players representing them in that World Cup, unfortunately that would be the last World Cup in many years that the Colombian team would go to.

Take that with curious data from that World Cup, in fact another fact that makes it even more curious is that the Romanian team who eliminated the Colombia team, only reached 8 finals since it was defeated by the Croatia team, who later Colombia was my favorite team and like Colombia, Romania would only go to the World Cup until that year.

Another curious fact that I can remember is that according to statistics that was the World Cup with the most goals scored, 171 goals were scored in just 64 games, 14 of which were from France and 13 from Brazil, coincidentally the two finalists of that cup.

And obviously we cannot put aside the mascot of the World Cup that is the reason for this post, this little bird was called "Footix", that name was given by the ancient Gauls and well here I leave the drawings that I made of this nice little friend, I hope you like it.
