Greetings everyone,

The world of football was quite overwhelemed by the news that took social media by the storm that Sergio Kun Aguero (currently a Barcelona player), has retired from professional football altogether. This wasn't entirely surprising to me since this information was lurking around for some weeks now from the medical concerns that were previously raised.

Shortly after his transfer exit from Manchester City to Barcelona, he experienced health challenges and had to be kept off the list due to some cardiac tests he had to undergo for a couple of weeks. Medical practitioners advised him to stop playing as the best course of action of which he was smart to oblige.

I think that he made a very wise choice to prioritize his health before his career. This is because, so long as there is life there is hope and we only have one life to live.

Every single player who had ever worked with him came out to social media especially twitter to show some love to this football icon with heartfelt well-wishes and farewells. And although his exit was impromptu, they made it a memorable one for him.

Besides, Sergio Kun Aguero had quite an outstanding football career and definitely amongst the very best of players we have ever seen. With 21 trophies under his belt, extraordinary goal-scoring records and uncountable memorable moments on the pitch, he will go down as possibly the greatest striker in premier league history.

Of all the great and treasured memories of this great player, the most memorable goal he scored in my opinion was the one against QPR under Mancini. That was certainly the day a legend of the Man City football club was born and possibly his greatest moment as a player.

I wish him a very great journey for the rest of his life. May he find happiness and joy in his future endeavors.

Hello @njaywan,

You have provided attribution in the best possible format for the image. Keep it up.

A very sad story. It is quite unfortunate for such a great player to go off the field in such a manner. However, I earlier indicated in my post that his conditions will definitely cause him to stop playing.

I also wish him the very best in his off the field work.

Thanks for sharing.
