The name of the red cross logo location on both FC Barcelona and AC Milan's emblem is called the cross of Saint George, the patron saint of England.
But Saint George also has a history in Catalunya.
Long ago he saved a village from a dragon and the princess of Montblanc(mum'blan) and killed the creature. He is celebrated every year in Catalunya.
The club Milan was also created by a group of Englishmen in 1899 which is the source of the cross of Saint George from the English flag.
This same cross is also associated with Saint Ambrose, the bishop saint of Milan in the fourth century and also the patron saint of the city.
I have seen those badges a lot and never noticed the English flag, amazing
