The much anticipated clash between two English giants has finally arrived.

Pep Guardiola's men seem to be the favourites in every competition they are part of but winning it is not always assured as we have seen Baryern Munich crush out even though they were considered the favourites for the trophy.

Pep as they say always seem to over think things at the last minutes and then make costly mistakes.
An example was when he faced Chelsea in the premier league the last time out in a match that could have crowned them premier league champions.

But instead he decided to bench important players thinking he could get one last Chelsea this time but they priced him wrong.
I know most people will say it all comes down to that Aguero penalty disaster but I still blame it on Pep Guardiola for his selection.

Chelsea on the other hand are on the right path.
If you take that loss against villa on the last day of the season out you can testify that they have been phenomenal this season.
In the FA cup, premier league and the champions league.

I know they lost that final against Leicester city but anyone who watched the match knows that right from the start of the match they looked like a winning the match.

They bossed the match till full time but still they lost.
Showing that in a game all that matters is scoring it doesn't matter how long you have the ball in possession.

If you don't score after all that possession the opposition will hurt you.

This is the first time Manchester city and Chelsea have come against each other in a champions league game.
The last time they faced each other was in the premier league and chelsea were victorious.

I have a weird feeling that this match will be the boring Europa league final and will probably be taking into extra time.

But I don't think it will be taken into penalties.
When I read around posts and ask people for predictions they all consider Manchester city the big time favourites but I dont know I feel like chelsea will control the game.

I do not want to give score predictions for this match.
If I had the chance none them will lift the trophy since I don't like any of these 2 teams.

Manchester city lifting the trophy will be a huge achievement and will probably cement their name as one of the greatest clubs in the champions league.

But I feel like Chelsea will again get one over Guardiola's men and lift the champions league trophy for the second time.
