QUESTION
Sometimes as a manager, your plans don’t always seem to work. You may be using the right tactic but your players could commit a few errors which will lead to you trailing behind at halftime by a wide margin. How do you intend to recover from a big blow like this after half time.
Any reward that will be received on this will go to help boost our community steem power.
THANK YOU!

When this happens then there is no doubt that my team is struggling. And first of all the one thing I will do is to identify that problem and the source. What I mean is, is that my team can not hold the ball? They can't puch forward with the ball? or they are just misusing their chances whiles the opponents make good use of their chances?
If I am able to get these right, I will then go to the drawing board to refer to my team and those who will be able to help me solve the problem at hand. If is about holding the ball and pushing it forward then I will be looking at my midfielders either talking to them or making a substitution.
However, if about misusing our chances, I will likewise make a substitution or talking to the strikers. It is also possible that I can make a attacking midfielder to be shouting from shot ranges.
In short the strategy I will use is to first, identify my problem, followed by assigning the appropriate reactions either substitution of change of game plan to suit my players. Talking to them to make efficient use of the chances created.

Trailing by 3 goals down first half can happen to any team in the world and most times, uncertainties happen in football because a little mistake can cause your time.
First time i would as a manager if i find myself in such situation is to do substitution. In this angle, I give it to Jose Mouriho, because he put you and instruct you do a specific task and without that he would substitute you again.
Change the manner of approach, as i manager i am, the formation i use first half may not work and maybe in that aspect cause my team first half, then i will change the formation to suit attacking force so that i would force a consolation goal or probably come out with a point.
Every team have their talisman, i will assign a player to such player not to give him space to operate and without him, the opposition will run out of ideas. Mouriho did this against Chelsea when he against Herrera to Hazard but ended up picking red card but the match ended in a goalless draw. Trailing is not bad but how to pick up from your mistakes is what give the fans joy.

With the 3 goals, my opponent would preferably switch to defense and play on the counter.
To have a chance of a comeback, will choose to dominate the midfield, playing a 352 or 3142 formation. I will rely on the wing-backs to provide width for the team.
These formations will guarantee strong
attacking with a balanced and possessive nature as not to be caught in any counterattacks.
Eventually, controlling the game and sending in dangerous crosses through the wings with pay handsomely

As a manager, seeing your team trailing by 3 goals in the first won't be funny at all.
If a manager starts a game with a 433 formation and at the end of the first half, his team is down with 3 goals, the best thing to do is pull out a defender and inject more of an attacking players and switch to either 343 or 334 formation to create more chances to score and equalize the game.
Thanks all
