The week is gradually moving to an end, and I want to thank Almighty God for making us to see the end of the month of June. My prayer for you is that the month of July will bring increase for you and your household. This week marks the fourth week of season 2 of the steemit engagement challenge. I hope you have been enjoying the various contest topics from participating communities. Today, I am going to be posting and discussing my work life and steemit. Tell us about your work life

In this section, I will like to briefly introduce myself to you. I am Kehinde Micheal and I hail from Okeho, a town in Oyo State, Nigeria. I had my Primary school and secondary education in my hometown, Okeho. Shortly after my secondary school, I gained an admission to the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH). LAUTECH is located in Ogbomoso, a city in Oyo State.

Initially, I was admitted to study crop and environmental protection at the faculty of Agricultural science. But because of my passion for engineering, I studied very well in first year and obtained good grade. Consequently, that earned me the privilege of crossing to the department of Mechanical Engineering in the faculty of Engineering and Technology.

I graduated in 2018, and after my graduation, in March 2019, I was posted to Delta State for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) [National Service is a complusory service that every University and Higher National Diploma graduate observe after their graduation]. Under the NYSC, I worked as a Course Instructor at the Nigerian Naval Engineering College, Sapele, Delta State.

During the time, I used my academic background to motivate the National Diploma students for academic performance. I taught the students Workshop Technology, Physics and Foundry technology, and at the end of the session, great successes were recorded for the students.

I finished my national service in March 2020. The picture uploaded below is one of the picture I took during passing out parade at Asaba, Delta State. After my passing out, I have applied to so many job opportunities, internship and international scholarship.

Can you make time at work for Steemit

Yes! Apart from job, and scholarship application, I also engage in blogging, which is solely on this platform. I joined steemit in May 2021 and since then, I have been very active on this platform. So I create time to write quality contents on this platform. Apart from that, I also engage with users on this platform through voting, commenting and supporting their contents. More so, I write content to educate users and to teach them some things once in a while.

Could Steemit be your first job?

The answer to this question is Yes. As I am now, steemit is my first job. Like I have stated above, I publish quality contents on the platform often. For the past one year now, I spend most of my time on this platform. My blogs is full of quality contents that I have been making right from the time I joined this awesome platform.

What do you need to turn the Steemit platform into your workplace?

To turn steemit my workplace, I will need the following things listed and discussed below

• Support and Upvote

To turn steemit my workplace, it means that I will have to dedicate my most of my time and energy to the platform. And if I am doing that, I may not be able to do anything that will fetch me fund. Therefore, I will need support from every user and Upvote from curators to support me from time to time.

• My Own Steemit Office

The work of blogging requires comfortable place if it is going to be easy for the person doing the blogging. So I will need a comfortable office, especially office that is outside, and this will help me to be moving out of my house and not stay indoor all of the time. This is also important for some part of this nation that believes if a youth is indoor and working from home, he is either into illegal thing, online fraudulent or Yahoo Yahoo.

• Good Power Supply

Another important thing I will need is power supply. The epileptic supply of power in my area is not encouraging at all. Therefore, I will need good generator that can power my gadgets so as to be able to work on the platform effectively.

Conclusion

In this post, I have discussed my work life and the contribution I have made. I also said my opinion of making time for steemit even at work. More so, I also dicussed that I can make steemit my first job and some things that I will need to make steemit my workplace were highlighted and discussed in this article.
