It is time to go over some Strategies. Once again if you read over my post and give me some feedback about it you can win 750 DEC now. I upped the prize a little as I have only been doing one post a week. Comment can be about one of my strategies or something else that catches your eye in the post. I am going to try to tell you about the best teams to use and give you some examples. I am hoping that some of the players enjoy this. Also if you are a newer player this might help you win a few more matches.
Melee Mayhem is a lot of fun. I like playing this mode and it is one of the few that all teams are okay at. The main thing you will want is to have a tank that has shield and thorns. As he will be getting hit from all angles. Armor is also a good idea here so Life or one card with the protect ability isn't a bad idea at all. Now all that is true if both players set up Melee teems. This isn't always the case. Link in this Match I got beat up pretty bad by a sniper team. Given that was the other mode. I find that if you go all Melee you will win most of the time. I like to have cards that are fast so Fire does well here. They also have some of the bets big tanks in the game. Selfhealing is also a good thing to have. If you are going to go to a none melee team I like mages. But they need to be fast and have armor to avoid dying fast. But they will sometimes control the fight. You will want to make sure your line up has some strategy to it. Don't just put the guys in random order. You want guys who will live first and then the weaker ones in the back. Opportunity cards are cool sometimes to go and hunt those weak back cards also. Fitting in a nice control card is also a good move. Slow, Weaken and Rust are not a bad idea.
Odd Ones Out needs a name change right away. It should be Odd Ones In or maybe Odd Balls. As in this mode, you can only use the Odd cost cards. For this a bit like Even Stevens, you want to pick your team based on the tank and maybe healer or a strong attacker. The second mode in this will change the best teams often. I tend to look at it in high mana or low mana for who I like. Lower mana and I feel life is the best. The Shilvershield Paladin is good and can still have the Devine Healer or Angel of Light to heal with some good 3 cost attackers. I like the Earth team if mana is higher. They have a good 5 cost tank in Stone Golem you can combo with Spirit of the Forest. Then they have good 5 cost attackers. If the mana is really hard you can put Dragon for all the 7 cost attackers. You will see Lord Arianthus a lot in this mode so make sure you don't go all mages or the bounce back might destroy you. Death as a good 5 cost tank with Haunted Spirit and two great 3 cost cards but no other healer. They also lose access to some good cards on the even so I use them less often. Fire loses all the healers and Water loses a bit of power for sure. I would like to know what you all think. Here is a cool battle so show a good life setup.
Reverse Speed is a fun mode also. You get to use a lot of cards that you might ignore. I mean slow cards are a bummer in the standard speed. Watching a guy die before you can attack once sucks. The other thing that is fun is that slow cards tend to be strong. So in this mode you can pull out some strong guys and watch them go super fast. Lord Atianthus shows up a lot in this mode and I hate that. I love guys like the Frost Giant or some of the other cool cards like Red Dragon or big slow tanks. But man that darn Lord with 1 speed is hard to hit in his mode. If you are going to use cards over 3 speed make sure they are mages. You can't use the high speed ranged cards as they will miss over and over on the 1-speed guys. People love water and here is an example of why. Those they use Lord Arianthus a lot. I have a few losses I could show you from yesterday but I had fire quest going and well Fire not so good in this mode. Earth is okay for sure as they have a lot of cards with 2 or 3 speed and that works a lot. I have issues with Life also just can't see to get a good set up. One of the best cards for this mode is Cyclops. Having it hit hard with that stun to start fights is cool. If you don't have the Legendary cards one of the better setups is still water with the Spineback turtle as tank and other slower attackers they have. As a lot of the good cards like Chain Golem are Neutral you can use a lot of the teams. But you want to make sure they have a few good slow cards.
Give me any feedback on what I have said to maybe win. Sure some agree and others will think I am wrong. Keep playing all and let me know if I should do videos that go over this stuff.
Winner for the last post also could enter on Hive
Congrats to @mindblast
Hello @stever82,
In lower levels that I am:
Melee Mayhem - Taunting Kraken is the best in 6th spot. It is buying time for 1st spot monster to destroy enemy front. And I do like Selenia Sky with plenty archers. Also, the water splinter has good self healing monsters too, one fast ranged and a slower melee. I think it is important for selfhealing melee to be slower.
Odd Ones Out - With my cards I usually go with Torhilo the Frozen and ranged healer. While as you said the earth splinter is very strong.
Reverse Speed - I usually win with Selenia Sky summoning Torhilo the Frozen and 1 speed ranged healer, opportunity, ranged blaster, Cyclops, etc.

In melee mayhem I like melee buffs and debuffs above anything else, both side will probably have 4+ melee monsters so altering damage they deal is huge. Some kind of magic protection is valuable too, especially if you use armor.

I like the tips about the battles especially the hint that life is best suited for low mana battles and earth for higher. I learned from a player that the living lava is best for the slow speed.
The new knock out rules are best suited for the golem guys and not goblin mech.
I am a relatively new player and still learning.
Thanks for all the tips.

You missed something in Melee mayhem. Exploding dwarf is especially good at destroying monsters when put in the 3rd or 4th position. The insane damage and blast quickly destroys all the opponents. In fact, that is the sole purpose of exploding dwarf, along with in the equalizer ruleset.

You are right most of the time he is good. But if you double up shield guys and thorns he only hits once. But if you protect him with some armor then maybe he can do what you say.
