Steem Sri Lanka - contest series | round 02 | week 03 - art and craft contest: New year wish card

This year hasn't been an easy one so far. A lot of unpleasant experiences but we kept the faith on. Today I'm going to be presenting my locally made new year wish card.
When we arrived December, all we think of is Christmas and love ones. We think of gifts and merry time. Merry Xmas in advance.

Let's dive into it.

SETTING MY THINGS FOR THE CARD.

This is just a view of what I used in preparing my New year's wish card. A pen, marker, pencil, razor, paper, ruler, hard cover paper, needle and thread.

CUTTING THE HARD PAPER FOR THE BACK COVER.

I used my razor to cut out the hard paper to my own desired shape. The hard paper was used for the back cover.

DESIGNING MY BACK COVER.

Since it's a locally made wish card, I'm using my markers to make the designs.

STILL ON THE DESIGN.

It really not easy to crack your brain for a design. I couldn't get enough colours, designs would've been wonderful. Still doing it.

CUTTING OUT THE TAGS.


Using the paper's leaves to make my tags. So I had to make it equal with the size of the back cover I made. This was one of the hardest part for me.

WRITING MY WISHES.

After cutting out the tags, I wrote my wishes in it. It took some time but it was wonderful.

MAKING AN HANDLE FOR MY CARD.

The card is set now, I only have to add an handle to it. This is what I used to make my handle, a needle and thread.

DONE.

This is my card. It's not been easy. Crafting and making arts is not easy at all. Wow!!!
