Day of mine

Today I share with you memories on my engagement day. I got engaged on 15th july. That day in the morning I had so excited . I got up at 4 am because I should go saloon before 5 am so I got up and took cup of tea then got bath and got ready to go saloon. My father brought me there. From 5 a.m to 7 a.m I got ready for the function . More time took for make hair style and put makeup on my face. I dressed light green color saree actually that color is unique so many goods comments I have been receiving for its beauty. My husband and me selected place for the photo shoot in for that we got advice from our photographer. He also want to do some beautiful photo shoot with us.

My husbands home town is Beliaththa. So his family members and him left home at 3 am to came here. He arrived to Balangoda on time so we lucky to complete our planed works on time. We had signed on 10. 12 am and shared rings on 10.30 am. We did not held our engagement day in hotel. We held it in our home. Actually we thought to get our wedding day in a hotel so we completed engagement simply in our home.

Another special item is engagement cake. It had made by my school friend. He had matched the colour of the cake with my colour of saree. He did his job greatly. After I put some photos of the cake on facebook there were many comments had came about its colour matching.

Most of my friends said, using red colour flower for head dress and flower bouquet had add more beauty for me.
