I am going to tell you about another place we went during our trip to Anuradhapura. As I told you, we spent the night at my cousin's place on the first day. After that day, we wake up in the morning and were feeling like we were in a different country. There were differences from the climate to even flowers and trees. I had a walk to see that beauty early in the morning.

We got ready before getting late. My cousin's wife insisted to make us lunch too. She packed them in parcels and gave them to us telling that we can eat them on the way. We liked it as it is good than taking every meal at restaurants. We went there because we want some change. We went to a small lake to bath and then we started going to Mihinthale Temple. It is near to my cousin's home.

I have a memory with this place which I remember everytime I go there. I was at the top of the temple eith some flowers. Suddenly a monkey came and took my flowers and ate some.

Some of the elders and even us got tired when climbing steps. We went to the top and had some breaks in between. Almost everyone climed the zmohinthale rock.

After reaching the top, I felt that the journey was worth it. The view was amazing. The wind was amazing. I loved that feeling to be there. We sat on the cliff and spend few minutes there.

There are 3 clifs to climb. We only went to 2 because the time was limited. So we came back and started our journey to my uncle's home.

This is the place we missed visiting during our Anuradhapura trip. We assuemed that it would be a hard hike. Isnt it?
