Roaming on Vesak Day

I love spending time with my family. As you know, my sister got married recently. So I don't have much time to spend with them. On the day before Vesak Poya Day, she came home. I haven't met her for about a month then. She suggested going to eat from Dansal in the Poya Day. I was so happy as I like roaming with them. In the last Vesak Poya Day also, we went together. Mum suggested that we should go to a temple too. We all liked her idea too.

So we all got ready on the Vesak Day for this. I, mum and dad went on father's three wheeler and sister and her husband went on his bike.

We met a lot of Dansal on the way. I liked the ice cream ones the most. Others include roti, tea, bread, jackfruit, juice, pasta, biscuits, ulundu wadei and soup. We didn't went to the ones which are so crowded specially rice and curry places. There were long queues in those places because it costs much time to eat in the same place. So we skipped them.

There were different types of people there. Most people came to get the feeling such as my family. And we enjoyed the food too. We all were grateful for the people who offered their money, time and labour for these things. My mum told me that she also likes to give a Dansal like this in the future. Let's see what will happen.

I really liked the day. This is another memorable day in my life that I spent with my family.
