Enough is Enough

I was born in Sri Lanka in 1996 since then these are the worst days in my motherland. People are speechless and look like a zombie they are broken this currant corrupt government has already robbed us. Two years ago it was 2019 it was a wonderful year after that everything starts to happen 1st pandemic followed by an economic crisis earlier I used to say proudly I am a Sri Lankan citizen but now we are a bankrupt Island. Actually, we are not naturally bankrupt actually we are robbed by dirty politicians.

Now even for a middle-class family is really hard to maintain a good day to day life because the price of daily goods increases daily as an example in 2019 gas cylinder price was 1500 LKR but now it is almost 5000LKR surface inflation rate is really high central bank announced its 22% but comparing with prices in the market it is more than 100%.

Law is not existing here because almost all corrupted people and politicians got released thankful to something called the presidential pardon system. I strongly believe the executive president system must be abolished here. In the 1978 executive president constitution debate in Parliament some person raised some beautiful question against this constitutional change, I forget that person's name now but he asked “what happens if some idiot or crazy person came for the president seat” I think we got the answer now for that question.

People are dying in this country dreams of the young generation are almost killed here. And the funniest thing is they refuse their resignation also they should admit that they failed this country. Lots of people raising their voices against this but the administration silent message is loud and clear to resign the president and his camp till today no response from him he just shuffling the cabinet that’s all.
This is enough we must raise our voice against this they should know what is people's power. Otherwise, throughout our life, we have to live like zombies on this island.
