Good Old Days | 1st Camping Experience | 5% to SL- Charity

Hope all are fine and safe. Really long weekend is starts from tomorrow onwards and most of the people planned to visit Adams peak which is commonly known as “Sripada” and some people to Ella to various places. I remember in 2020 April just after the Sinhala and Tamil new year also situation is the same. Last weekend one of my friends visited Sripada and he couldn’t able reach the top due to high crowd and he abounded the journey and return back to home.

Today I am going to talk about my very first camping experience and it was back in 2015 so just after AL exams and at that time camping and traveling is not that much famous so just after an exam, we planned a trip to Nuwara Eliya so as a plan we decided to spend one night on camping.

So days 01 and 02 we spend on Nuwara Eliya around and end of day 2 we planned to do camping near Ambewela place called Kande Ela It was a really beautiful place surrounded with mist so around 5 pm we reached the place and arranged our tent and campfire. we start making vegetable soup for dinner it is a really hard task because too much of mist and light rain so finally we were able to make it possible so this area is fully covered with forest so during night time we went to collect some woods to lit up the campfire but its really hard because this area is always in wet condition because of mist sometimes mist is coming and we couldn’t even see people nearby so it was a thrilling experience because all of us never experienced camping before. So we spend the whole night in this tent and the morning view around this place is truly eye-catching after this I couldn’t able to attend any camping yet and hope I 'll be able to fulfill that dream this year.
