Monday Can’t be That bad?

Since I started work, Monday feels like just a day. There is not too much special whether it is Monday or another day. But there has a feeling that…”Yeiii..it is a new week..!”

Last Monday, was a holiday for most of us. I thought we didn’t get it, since it was a bank holiday. But the company gave that leave. So it became a long weekend and I got some free time after a long time.

Weekend normally flew and Monday came. I bit longer sleep than usual. And I completed some work that was postponed for a long time. In the evening, my sister and I went to pick up our mother from work. We had lunch from outside and then suddenly decided to go to Diyatha Uyana in Baththramulla.

How many times we have passed this place, but never come to see it here? It was amazing. We never thought of a place like that in the crowded Colombo. The cold water mixed wind make ourself good and it was so refreshing. Greenly surroundings also make eyes so happy. It made us happier.

There have been too many peoples..since it was Monday. But still, it was good. We had a quick walk around it and had a little snack and ice cream break.

If you my friends, looking for somewhere to go and spend time free time near Baththarmulla, this is a place that you need to try out. Hmmm...Monday isn’t that bad, when you have a good time..Right?
