When you see this topic, you should be shocked right? Normally, a music track will be below 10 Mb. How in the world has a music track become that much bigger? Let me tell you what’s going on.

I have told you I subscribed to Apple music, a music subscription service. Since I live in the Apple ecosystem this action made my music listening experience to the next level. It’s very easy to use and I can find almost every song I need here in one place using all of my Apple devices.

I saw in the new update there is a new feature called lossless audio. I saw some people on the internet who are shocked about the sound quality they hear from this setting. I was also curious to experience that. So, I also turned it on. 2 to 3 days passed, and I suddenly realized my data consumption has become very high. I have turned on the detailed reports of my slt fiber connection. I immediately checked it and found the issue.

As you can see it was Apple music. If I listen to 10 songs, almost 1.5 Gb gone. That’s how it all happened. But the quality is truly next level. Every little detail is there within the song. I mainly listened to it through my Airpods pro and homepod mini. I really enjoyed it. But I turned it off because of unbearable data consumption. If you are also using Apple music, you should also try this feature. Thank me later.
