Last Saturday, Rasi and I decided to come to Colombo to spend some quality time together. We wanted to free up our minds after a long work week. Rasi had dinner with her team on Friday, and she had to stay at her friend's place as it was late to return home.
We both took this opportunity to meet on Saturday. Even though I was not feeling well due to a pain in my neck, I decided to visit her because I had a special reason to do so. I had to give her a gift, and I hope she will write about it soon. Rasi is well-versed in medicine, and with the help of her doctor sister, she bought a gel from the pharmacy to apply to my neck. Thanks to her, the pain faded away quickly. If anyone needs a photo of the cream, I will be happy to provide it.
We went to the Tamil restaurant Vishnavi Vihar to get our breakfast. We tried patatta, samosa, ulundu wade. It was very tasty for both of us. There were many sweet items also that we didn't try.
This time we decided to go to McDonald's, which was our second visit to this place. We wanted to try their chicken and ordered a foot-long sub and fries. The food tasted different from KFC, and I liked it.
After lunch, we went to Galle Face Beach and spent some time talking and singing. Originally, I wanted to sing, but ultimately Rasi ended up singing 3 to 4 songs. I recorded her singing, and I must say she did it well.

After spending some quality time together, it was time to say goodbye to Rasi. I went to the Colombo streets to find a USB LED strip I needed to use with my power bank if there was a power outage. All in all, it was a very beautiful day for both of us.
