Cinnamon Grand Hotel Colombo | The Seafood Buffet you should try | 5% for SL-Charity

I have only been to a five-star hotel once. It was the Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo. It was the school get together. We were sponsored and that’s the day I understood there is some food that I thought never existed. That food really speaks to our feelings.

Today I am writing this post to tell you about my second attempt at a five-star hotel. This time it is a different one. As the name implies, it’s well known Cinnamon Grand Hotel Colombo. I visited there with 3 of my university friends. In university, there are lots of friends. But as you may know, some people do not have pure hearts. Some do not like to help even a little bit. In summary, lots of people use others to make their path successful. You all the there are many assignments, quizzes and many more in the academics of the university. These 3 helped me a lot with my academic activities. So, I consider them as good friends. Those days we wanted to go to some restaurants sometimes after an exam. But those didn’t work. But today everything worked.

We ordered a uber from Kiribathgoda and went to the hotel around 11. The hotel is very nice and very beautiful. We took some photos and enter the buffet area around 11.30 A.M. The location is the cinnamon lagoon. The buffet time is 11.30 to 3. We started our food journey with a mocktail. I took a drink called dark secrete and I have never tasted such a thing. It was truly refreshed me. After it was all eating and eating. That’s all. We ate as much as we can and we are filled at around 2.30. The bill value was 17,000 lkr. That means 4250 per person. In my opinion, I ate food at least 10,000 lkr. So, the cost was justified for me. I think the girls also did a good job. The fun fact is we came here without taking breakfast. Haha!

After all, today was a happy day. After coming home, I can only remember to have a wash and go nearby the bed. That’s all. It was around a 4-hour nap. Haha! Now another one is waiting to try this with me. I will update it to you guys really soon.
