Free trip to Jaffna | 5% for sl-charity

When I was in the university, I was a member of the Rotaract club. I have participated in many different events organized by the club. This is also one of them. My friend told me about this event they are going to held in Jaffna. He said that we only have to participate. No cost. That means all the transportation costs, food and any other cost will be covered by the club. What a great chance to visit Jaffna. So, I told him just after he told me the details. Of main reason I agree with this is because I have never gone there before. So, it was a golden opportunity for me.

They have arranged for us a really nice hotel. The rooms were very attractive. At the night we had a wood fire party and we really enjoyed it. The day after that day, we went Jaffna public library. It is a well-known library in Sri Lanka. There was an event planned there to plant trees. I also took part in that.

In the evening, we had a cricket match with the Jaffna Rotaract team. It was a very fun game and I also played. Not only that, we won the match. We were very happy. But, it was only to show our friendship with them. Nothing more than that.

On the way back we got food from a hotel. It was also really good. I never forget this chance I got because this was the first and last time I had the chance to visit Jaffna. So I the memories of it will last forever.
