I sold my old iphone 6s

In this article, I’m going to share my experience of selling my old iPhone 6s. I bought it back in 2015, and I used it for almost 5 years without any issues. But then the display developed a problem with colour patches everywhere, so I bought a new phone and gave the 6s to my sister.

After my sister used it for a year, I gifted her a new phone which is my old iPhone xs max and took back the iPhone 6s. After that, the display was even worse than I expected, and the battery life wasn't great either. But I still thought it was cute and easy to handle, so I decided to get it repaired and keep it as a backup phone.

I went to a phone repair shop and replaced the display with a new original one, which cost me 13,000 lkr. After one month, I thought selling it to someone who would appreciate it and put it to good use would be a good idea because I used it rarely after the repair.

So, I decided to sell it using ikman. I created a listing with a description and some photos and set a price. After some time, I found someone who was interested.

We met up in person to complete the transaction near my office, and I even demonstrated the phone to ensure that it was in good working condition. The sale was successful, and I was happy to give my old phone a new life.
