Water is a primary need of humans. So, it’s very important. 71% of earth’s surface is covered with water. But only 3% of it is ready for human consumption. Nowadays water sources are polluting very rapidly because of extreme human activities. Consumable water percentage keeps reducing.
Water contains so many things. It can dissolve many things. Even micro-organisms. Drinking water without any treatment is not good for our health. After I learned so many things about water, I decided to only drink hot water. Beecause boiling water is the most simple treatment we can do to water at home. Boiling can kill a lot of microorganisms. So it will help us to reduce our ability to get sick. I know it from experience. My advice is, drink water after boiling whenever possible.
I travel to my workplace by bus. It takes around 1.5 hours to get there. This was one of the reasons I needed a water bottle. So I decided to buy an insulated water bottle because I am used to drinking hot water. I am happy to tell you that this serves me really well. Water temperature does not reduce since there is a good seal. It does not leak so it’s a perfect choice.
This one is not that expensive. It was around 1500 lkr. I bought it from “Kandy Kadawatha”. Last week I went to one galle face. There I saw some insulated water bottles. The prices was very high compared to this one. Believe me there was one that cost 8500 lkr. It is the same size as this one. I think my choice is good here.
