Trying street food with friends

Hello Steemians!

Today I’m going to share with you about my dinner outing with friends last Saturday. I have been hoping to try out Aluthkade street food for a long time. Most people have different opinions about this place. I just want to try it out by myself for judgement.

I asked one of my friends on Saturday morning, and he also agreed to come with me. Three other friends also joined us. First, we caught a train to Colombo and waited for other friends to come. After they came, we went to one Galle face shopping mall in Colombo. We w tried submarines from Dinemore restaurant and I should say it was really worth it. The taste is really good. It was the best submarine that I have tried so far.

Then we headed to where street food is happening. There were a lot of crowds. My initial expression is not good with these small food stalls. Most of them seem to be very dirty and overpriced. My friends tried some chicken and beef sandwiches. I did not try those. But we tried a drink made using milk. It was very tasty. I can recommend it to you but unfortunately, I do not remember the name. If you go there, you will definitely see it.

We had to catch our train at 9.45 pm. So we had to leave the place early. Otherwise, there were other places to try other food. Unfortunately, we had to come. My advice is if you also going there, please make sure to choose clean places.
