Back to Kandy

Out of all the places we travel and wanna travel, kandy is a place where we visit at least once a year and most of the times more than once. We thought it is the time to plan our annual trip to kandy. We usually stay two days or three days there but we didn't have much budget this time to allocate it. Therefore, we limited it to a one day trip.

This was a sudden plan as always. So we couldn't book the train tickets for a morning train. We had to take a bus for the journey and I slept most through the three hours. We prepped some sandwiches to eat on our way and I only woke up to eat that 😅

The first thing we did when we landed in Kandy is to go for a walk around the lake because I wanted to take some pictures there. We spent some time talking and relaxing there and then we started walking to dalada maligawa.

I wore a strapped dress, so I put on a button up shirt before going there because I didn't want to be subjected to their wrath of the security people there.

Next thing to be done is to take a picture infront of the queen's hotel which is a very famous spot for that. It was already the time for our train. So we bought our lunch and desert and thought of eating it in the train.

We were 30mins early for the train but we took the maximum out of it by eating.

So kandy is done for our annual traveling plan for the year but we may return their again for a Two day trip.
