Life savers….| 5% for SL Charity.

I wrote about my crazy fortnight, in my last fortnight. But life will never be 100% depressyy and negative. When looking back at that time, I did many things to keep me alive and god knows how I found time for them. Doing what we like in the hard times has always been a therapy for me, and I want to encourage many more people to find time for themselves and their loved ones without using their busy schedules as an excuse.

The first things first. I stocked my fav food because food always make me happy. I didn’t want to skip my breakfast just because I’m bored to make my breakfast in the boarding. So I made sure to have plenty of fruits, yogurts, oats and cornflakes with me.

The next thing is I ate a lot of pizzas because I’m a huge pizza lover.

And there is this funny memory on ordering pizza also. I was complaining with my uni bestie about one exam paper that I believed I didn’t do an enough job, so she told me there is a pizza offer for valentine’s day and asked me to order it because I love pizza. The offer was for a medium sized pizza, two lava cakes and garlic bread. I was so full after eating the medium pizza by my own, so I kept the rest to eat while I was studying. I felt like eating something when it was around 2a.m. or 3a.m. , and I grabbed a lava cake to eat. I almost cracked when I saw that the lava cake has been baked in the shape of a heart. I found it to be so cheesy 😅😂

When I felt quite trap in the boarding I went for dinner outs, and clicked pics while eating. When thinking of it, all I did to relieve my stress seems food 😂

And the best thing that cheered up my mood was the chocolates that my big sis gifted me. Lindt is my fav chocolate brand and my big sis gave me my fav flavor of it which is something hard to be found here. It made me so happy that I almost forgot about all the stressing workload. For a bonus, I got some more chocolates as well… If I am to get treats like this, I don’t mind doing a degree and two dips at the same time 😅😅

The next thing other than food that made me happy during this time was shopping. I didn’t want to shop while having too many exams and assignments, but my big sis told me “walking won’t help your stress, but walking in a shopping mall will do the trick” which is quite true. So we did a bit of shopping also.

Food, going out and shopping kept me alive in those depressing times. It was just like divorcing with the bitter reality for a moment to enjoy my own world!
